The need for pretreatment work before coating
The older the car, the more the surface should be pretreated it as follows;
After you wash your car and dry it,
you should search all exterior surfaces of the vehicle before applying AQuartz Coating.
* Before coating, you should search the surface condition whether any damages are or not, you perceive what kinds of damages are, and repair them suitably .
* When a used car coated, the surface should be removed any scratches and foreign objects and repair it and it is good to recover the surface condition when it was a new car.
* The repair work includes major maintenance work such as paintwork, polishing work, and removal of stubborn stains.
* If a car with a good(no damaged) surface condition such as like a new car is, you may only enough to coat with the pretreatment work, ie a car washing and degreasing, if the surface of an old car is no good, you should repair it with a paint-job, grinding and polishing operations, etc. and you will get the best results.
Why is pretreatment work required before coating?
* For vehicles with a good surface condition, such as a new car, pretreatment work can be done right here, but for older vehicles or vehicles with poor exterior condition, the repair paint-work must be done.
* The main purpose of pre-treatment before coating is to increase the durability and shine of the coated surface.
* To give an example, just as in bond adhesion or paint work, foreign substances must attached to the surface must be removed before working on the principle of good adhesion, in coating construction, foreign substances on the vehicle surface must be removed to increase the bonding strength between the surface and the coating agent to ensure long durability. It is a work of the same principle.
* Coating is done on the same principle as applying regular transparent paint, so the results may vary depending on how clean the surface to be coated is.
* Pretreatment operations include car washing, foreign matter removal, and degreasing.
:: Simple Surface Repairing ::
+ If you find out deep scratches or paint discoloration on the surface, you should do a paint-job.
+ If there is a lot of life scratches on the surface, and the surface is rough or uneven or the gloss disappears, polish it.
+ If the paint color has changed due to age or there is old stain that is not easily removed, you can return it to almost its original color by washing your car using AQuartz Super Cut
+ If the surface is rough because there is a lot of iron embedded in it, work with clay or use "AQuartz IRON CUT remover" to remove the iron and contaminants, make the surface smooth
+ If you spray Titanium V2 when working with clay and polishing, you can work very easily and reducing frictional heat, machine load, and dust
+ Light and shallow scratches or finishing work after polishing can be easily resolved by removing them with AQuartz+ Xcelerator, and high gloss can also be expected.
+ If there are water spots on the glass or paint surface that are difficult to remove, it is recommended to use AQuartz XSpot to remove them.
Preparation Check List
"All exterior surfaces of the vehicle must be cleaned to obtain good results, you must precheck below before coating."
+ Please apply it in a clean, cool place and no wind. If the surface to be coated is hot due to hot weather or driving, cool the surface with water.
+ You should have to search all exterior paint surfaces of the vehicle. If required, compound and polish to remove light scratches and swirls.
+ Wash vehicle with AQuartz Snow Foam Shampoo or Clean Shot, rinse and dry.
+ Use Iron Cut to remove iron fallout if you need.
+ If you fine discolored car-paint by stubborn stains, use Super Cut to renew the original car-paint color
+ Car paint & Glass(Using 2:10 Super Cut with water), Wheels (using 1:1 Super Cut with water).
+ If the paintwork feels uneven, you may need to use a clay-bar to remove surface contaminates.
+ If required, compound and polish to remove light scratches and swirls, afterwards, use AQuartz+ Xcelerator to finish polish work.
+ While clay or polish work, spraying TitaniumV2 makes it easy work.
+ Use a soft microfiber swirl, dust and oil free cloth to rub the surface to get a full results.
+ Make sure you wash the surface, rinse off all the residue of cleaners thoroughly, and make a clean finish with AQuartz PreLoad.
* Always use a soft microfiber swirl, dust and oil free cloth to buff the painted surface to remove dust and smudges.
:: To complete remove remaining contaminations, use PreLoad so far as possible ::
AQuartz PreLoade can be removed remaining contamination after paint job, repairs or car wash completely,
and created a slippery surface to increase the workability and durability of the coating.
:: How To Use PreLoad ::
1. Spray PreLoad on the surface, and then wipe off with a clean dry towel.
2. Wait for 5 to 10 minutes to dry the surface before applying the coating.
:: Pre-check the microfiber towels to use ::
+ Which towel you choose is the most important to the results after coating, but it is something we tend to neglect most and has a great impact on the results of coating.
+ Towels required for applying must be soft and clean microfiber towels that are not contaminated, such as grease or dirt.
It is difficult to expect good results with the use of contaminated microfibers.
+ Contaminated towels are common causes of scratches and swirl marks, so be careful when using them and must check the towel condition before applying.
+ Even new microfiber fresh from the factory may have oils on it, so make sure you buy clean and soft microfiber.
+ Cleaner residue may remain on the cleaned microfiber towel, so be sure to rinse it several times to remove it.
+ Cleanser residue that remains unwashed may cause a chemical reaction with the coating agent, happen to very bad results.
